How it all works

What are your minimum order requirements?

Our minimum investment for full service florals is $4000. For studio pickup florals, our minimum is $1500.

Where are you located?

We serve the greater puget sound area from our home studio located in Enumclaw, WA.

How far in advance should I book with you?

Typically 9 to 12 months in advance. But if you’re ready sooner than that, I’m happy to chat with you! The earliest we can book is about 18 months in advance.

How much should I budget for flowers?

A rule of thumb is 8-10 percent of your overall wedding budget. However, that rule of thumb was created before the era of Pinterest, large floral installations, backdrops, etc. If you’re looking for those kinds of floral pieces, you will want to allocate more of your budget to florals. Of course, in the end itʼs up to you. We’re happy to help guide you through the process of selecting which floral pieces are most important to you.

What is your delivery and set up fee?

Our delivery fee varies with each venue and set up. Many factors are involved including the number of staff we need to bring, the size and number of vehicles required to transport flowers, the estimated length of time for set up and installation, and whether or not we need to return after the wedding for breakdown. 

What happens if you get sick?

We successfully delivered a wedding the day my son was born (and every weekend for 6 weeks in a row after that) and the day after I had an emergency appendectomy. We take our work very seriously, and will do everything in our power to make sure your flowers are taken care of. We do have a team of assistants and industry friends we can call on for help in emergency situations.

Why a home studio?

It makes the most sense for our family. My studio is a separate building with big work benches, shelves full of vases and a walk in cooler. Even on a full design day, I’m home when my kids walk home from school. My job also requires a lot of late nights… it’s so nice to be able to just walk a few steps from the studio and flop into bed!

Do you work on events other than weddings?

Absolutely! Weʼd love to work with you on your anniversary party, vow renewal, birthday party, quinceanera, bar mitzvah, bat mitzvah, fundraiser, banquet, holiday party––you name it!

Where do you get your flowers?

We use a combination of local wholesalers, an amazing Northwest flower farmer co-op, and buying directly from a couple of hyper local farms. Also, frequent snipping from my own garden, my parent’s garden/forest and responsible foraging (I always have a pair of clippers in my car to snag that perfect roadside queen Anne’s lace or fading bracken fern!).

What sustainability practices do you follow?

We are certainly not perfect, but the more we learn, the more we strive to improve our practices. We have invested in learning foam-free design methods. We source flowers as close to home as we can. We compost our plant materials. If someone could make strong compostable zip ties, we would be first in line to buy some!

Full Service Wedding Florals

We’re with you every step of the way! From our first meeting (about 9 to 12 months before your wedding) through your wedding day setup. Designs for full service weddings usually include bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, ceremony installations and accents, reception centerpieces and other floral details. The Paisley Petals team will be on site for delivery and set up of all your designs, with an option to add on clean up services after your event. Full service floral pricing begins at $4000 but will vary according to the scope of work required.

Services

Studio Pick-Up Wedding Florals

Perfect for smaller orders. Rather than a full consultation, we send you a brochure with pricing and you make your floral selections- easy as can be! Specific flower types are designers choice, based on your requested color palette, in our signature garden style. Your flowers will be ready for pick up at our Enumclaw studio on your wedding day. Studio pickup orders can include bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, other personal flowers, garlands, small centerpieces, loose greenery and accent pieces. Large installations and other details that would need to be installed onsite are not available with studio pickup orders. Starting at $1500.

We can also provide florals for other parties, corporate events, Etc. The same minimum order amounts apply- $4000 for full service with delivery and setup, $1500 for orders picked up at our studio.
